Civcon was established in 1980 as a civils contractor focusing on the mining, construction and heavy industrial sectors in southern Africa. Clients are primarily mining houses, petrochemical companies, fertiliser producers and large and medium industrial concerns.

Civcon’s main services are civil engineering construction, bulk earthworks, roads, bridges and dam construction, concrete rehabilitation, industrial and process plants, and mining infrastructure.

Driven by a strong leadership team, including benchmark technical and operational expertise, Civcon delivers solutions across southern Africa.
Civcon is a Level 4 BBBEE contributor and, through its empowerment programmes, remains committed to delivering on the spirit and requirements of South Africa’s transformation goals. This is achieved through training and development, enterprise development, preferred procurement and various corporate social investment activities.

Through its corporate social investment initiative, Civcon has invested in the Abraham Kriel Children’s Home. The aim of the project is to provide the Children’s Home with much needed funding in order to enable these children to lead sustainable lives. Further investment in the community was made through donations to the Music for the Children Foundation. The foundation raises funds for ill, abandoned and abused children of South Africa.
