


| 1987 | Erbacon Construction was established by its founder member, Dave Erskine, starting out initially as a specialised concrete repair contractor and later evolving into a full-service civil engineering contracting operation. | ||
| 2007 | Erbacon Investment Holdings Limited listed on the Alternate Exchange (AltX) of the JSE Limited on 7 December 2007. | ||
| 2008 | Armstrong Building Contractors acquired, adding building capacity to the Group. | ||
| 2009 | Erbacon finalised an agreement with Medu Capital, a black-owned private equity investment company, effectively giving Medu an initial 29% stake in Erbacon as its BEE partner. Erbacon acquired the entire share capital of Civcon Construction. Erbacon achieved a CIDB rating of 9GB for the Group, and Civcon a 9CE rating. |

| 2010 | Civcon obtained the OSHAS 18001:2007 safety accreditation. Dave Erskine resigned as CEO, effective 1 June 2010, and Sean Flanagan was appointed Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 June 2010. |
