Alan Dawson (68) Alan joined Grinaker Construction Natal in 1974, culminating in an executive directorship with Grinaker Holdings Limited, responsible for civil engineering work in Southern Africa. He was also appointed to the board of Aveng Limited in 2000. He retired from these executive positions in 2002. Alan has been closely involved with the SA Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors for most of his career and was elected national president for 2000 – 2002. Alan has been a director and Chairman of Erbacon since March 2008. |

Zeyn Rashid Angamia (32) Zeyn is a principal of Medu Capital and is responsible for investment execution and management. He has ten years’ experience in auditing, corporate finance and private equity investing. After qualifying with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Zeyn joined the corporate finance division of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he gained valuable experience in valuation and strategy. Zeyn became a director of Erbacon in January 2010. |

Johannes Andries Holtzhausen (40) Johan is the managing director of PSG Capital (Pty) Limited. He is a qualified attorney and has been involved in corporate finance since 1995, having implemented various corporate finance transactions and private equity investments, listings, mergers and acquisitions and such like. He was also appointed by the Minister of Finance as a chairperson for the Special Income Tax Appeals for Gauteng in 1998. Johan became a director of Erbacon in October 2008, and also serves as a non-executive director of other listed companies including PSG Group Limited. |

Nhlanganiso Phares Mkwanazi (36) Nhlanganiso is a co-founder and director of Medu Capital. He has 17 years’ experience in auditing, management consulting and private equity investing. After qualifying with Deloitte, Nhlanganiso joined Gemini Consulting as a consultant in strategy development and business transformation projects. He later joined Brait Private Equity and was appointed as a director. Nhlanganiso became a director of Erbacon in January 2010. |

Samara Totaram (32) Samara completed her articles with Deloitte, and then spent 18 months at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London. She joined PSG Capital (Pty) Limited in 2007 as an analyst and was promoted to director in 2010 where she was primarily involved in new listings, capital raisings and other commercial transactions, merger and acquisition advisory work, general corporate finance consulting and valuations. Samara then joined Thembeka Capital Limited, a black-owned and controlled investment company, in October 2010 as an investment manager. Samara furthermore serves as a non-executive director on the boards of IQuad Group Limited, and Kaap Agri Limited. She became a director of Erbacon in October 2008. |

Sean Joseph Flanagan (51) Sean joined Erbacon as Chief Executive Officer on 1 June 2010, having left the Murray and Roberts Group after an illustrious and varied career spanning 20 years, during which he served as a member of the Murray and Roberts Executive Committee and as executive director of the JSE-listed Murray and Roberts Holdings Limited. Sean is recognised throughout the construction industry and has 28 years’ industry-specific experience derived from the setting of group companies’ strategies, arranging and leading mergers and acquisitions and taking executive responsibility for a large portfolio of business and major projects, including the Gautrain Rapid Rail and Green Point Stadium Project. |

Robin Kevin Braithwaite (56) Rob qualified as a chartered accountant in 1984 and served articles with Ernst and Young. After a two-year term with John Holland Construction in Australia, and then Corobrik in Durban, Rob spent nearly a decade with the contracting and engineering companies of the Dorbyl Limited Group, as financial director. The following eleven years of his financial career were spent in the manufacturing sector and with the Dunlop Group in particular. Rob joined Erbacon as Group Finance Director in February 2008. |

Charles Henry Alan Ramsay (60) Charles graduated in 1974 and has worked in the construction industry for 36 years. Prior to his current position as an executive director of Erbacon, Charles was a director of Civcon. He was an executive director of Group Five Civils (Pty) Limited as well as the managing director of Goldstein Coastal (Pty) Limited. He also served as managing director of WK Construction (Pty) Limited for 11 years. Charles is a former chairman of the KwaZulu- Natal region of the SA Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors. Charles became a director of Erbacon in January 2010. |

David Boyd Erskine (57) In 1987, Dave started Erbacon Construction as one of three founding members, after completing stints with the Department of Water Affairs and Grinaker (1981). The company grew rapidly and, in 1991, premises were acquired in Glen Anil, Durban. Following the appointment of Sean Flanagan as Chief Executive Officer on 1 June 2010 and the merger of the civils businesses Erbacon and Civcon, Dave elected to focus his attention on managing the civils operations in KwaZulu- Natal and the Eastern Cape. Dave became a director of Erbacon in August 2007. |

Alexis Hertzog Henning (57) Lex has 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has been managing Civcon since 1994. He is responsible for building the company up from a R10 million revenue a year company, employing 70 staff members, to a R600 million plus multifaceted business employing in excess of 2 000 employees. Lex became a director of Erbacon in January 2010. |

Coenie Vermaak (37) Coenie Vermaak has over fifteen years’ experience in the Civil Engineering Industry at an operational and corporate level. He held director’s positions in Basil Read, Murray & Roberts Construction and was recently been appointed as the Managing Director of Civcontract (Pty) Ltd (Civcon) and an executive director of Erbacon Holdings Limited. Coenie has extensive experience in industrial civil engineering, roads and bridge construction, opencast mining and commercial building work in South Africa and the SADC region. This includes the management of major projects. A position he held until recently was that of Project Director for the main civil works contract on Medupi, a project valued at almost R 8.0 billion employing some 4,800 people. In addition he has been involved in establishing BEE businesses and has been instrumental in the development of strategic partnerships with these organisations. Having worked at an international level with organisations such as Bougues SA, Coenie has gained the experience and knowledge of the inner workings of major corporations at an international level. The combination of operational and organisational knowledge and experience provides Coenie with the ability to lead Civcon going forward. |
